Motion 2.0: Relocation for Bristol nightclub with new venue and event series

Bristol nightclub Motion has confirmed details of its new event space, a month after hinting at its return to the city. The venue, called Motion 2.0, will open on Friday, October 10th in St Philips, close to its former home.
The club announced a new event series, Momentum, which will bring international acts and local talent to the venue. The opening weekend, October 10th–11th, will feature performances from Y U QT, Skeptic, Chloé Robinson, IsGwan, and LAMMER.
Further shows across the coming months will include sets from SBTRKT, Sally C, Pangaea, ELKKA B2B Cinthie, DJ AG, and Bradley Zero. The venue will retain the raw, industrial backdrop that Motion became known for.
Motion closed earlier this year, announcing a permanent shutdown over summer. The decision followed the expiry of its lease in July 2025.
In response, the team launched the #KEEPMOTIONMOVING campaign to raise £250,000 to secure a long-term home for Motion and sister venue Marble Factory.
