OneLibrary: AlphaTheta, Algoriddim & Native Instruments Unite

AlphaTheta has launched OneLibrary, a new unified music library format developed in collaboration with Algoriddim and Native Instruments. The initiative marks a step toward greater openness in the DJ industry, allowing music libraries to work seamlessly across software and hardware from different brands.
Until now, DJs were often restricted by brand-specific library formats, limiting where and how they could perform. OneLibrary standardises essential DJ data — including playlists, cue points, beatgrids, and waveform information — ensuring that a single exported library can be used across compatible systems.
The update supports key AlphaTheta products such as the CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000, XDJ-AZ, OPUS-QUAD, and OMNIS-DUO, with integration for Traktor Play and Traktor Pro 4 due in the coming months. DJs can now prepare their music in djay Pro, export it via USB, and perform directly on supported hardware — No laptop Required.
OneLibrary builds on AlphaTheta’s previous Device Library Plus technology and reflects a broader commitment by the company and its partners to a more connected and sustainable DJ ecosystem. Compatibility is expected to expand further as additional manufacturers adopt the standard.
Speaking on the launch, Yoshinori Kataoka, President and CEO of AlphaTheta Corporation, said the aim is to “empower DJs to express themselves freely, without limitations.”
