Pacha NY: Opening party takes place at former Brooklyn Mirage site

Pacha New York opened its doors last weekend in East Williamsburg at 140 Stewart Ave., the former home of Brooklyn Mirage.
As reported by BKMAG, the opening party followed months of build-up, including community board discussions and liquor license hearings.
The sold-out event featured Rampa from Keinemusik playing back-to-back with Prospa. The lineup also included local New York artists selected by Rampa, including Joe Claussell b2b François K, Kim Ann Foxman b2b Nomi Ruiz, Cosmo b2b Donis, and Jadalareign b2b Analog Soul.
The opening brought several key figures from Pacha’s wider organisation to New York, including Kabir Mulchandani, founder and CEO of FIVE Holdings, and Aloki Batra, CEO of FIVE Hospitality and The Pacha Group. Pablo Jofra, production manager for Pacha’s Ibiza and Dubai venues, was also present to help bring the brand’s production standards to Brooklyn.
The night also drew a number of high-profile guests, including Travis Scott, Luka Sabbat and Quavo. Inside the venue, the focus remained on the dancefloor, with visuals referencing New York City locations including DUMBO, the Manhattan skyline and the East River.
As the night moved towards morning, Rampa and Prospa handed closing duties to Jubilee and Tiki Disco resident Eli Escobar. The opening marked the return of dancing to 140 Stewart Ave, after more than 20 months.
