The DJ.Studio Takeover returns: Win a guest mix slot and CORE residency with Electric

After more than 200 entries last spring, the DJ.Studio Takeover is back for 2026 — and Electric is excited to be partnering with DJ.Studio once again to open up ten guest mix slots on Electric this August.

This is your chance to create a two-hour mix in DJ.Studio and have it featured as part of DJ.Studio Takeover Week on Electric, airing Wednesday 12th – Sunday 16th August.

Ten winners will be selected for the takeover, with each receiving a featured two-hour guest mix on Electric, plus a one-year CORE residency.

The competition opens Friday 10th July at 12:00 PM BST and closes Friday 24th July at 12:00 PM BST. Winners will be announced Friday 31st July.

To enter, create and submit your mix using DJ.Studio through the official Contest workflow. Entries should be approximately two hours long and fit one of Electric’s takeover styles: house, tech house, future house, progressive, trance or techno.

Whether you're an established DJ or looking for your first opportunity on Electric, the takeover is your chance to showcase your sound and be heard by Electric's audience.
