One-off paid service terms

These Paid Services Terms apply when you request a one-off paid service through Electric, including Spotlight Release, Local Boost, Community Headshot processing, and future profile or promotional services.
These terms apply in addition to our Platform Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, DJ Terms, Guest Mix Terms, and Residency Terms where those terms apply to your account or request.
These terms do not replace the separate rules for recurring PRO Residency add-ons such as Listener Reports, Audience Boost, or Live Voice, which are managed as part of the PRO Residency subscription and change-management process.
1. Service review and approval
Some paid services require Electric team review before the service is confirmed. This may include checks for suitability, availability, scheduling, supplier feasibility, image quality, broadcast requirements, and whether submitted material meets Electric's editorial standards.
Submitting a request or authorising payment does not guarantee that the service will be approved, scheduled, published, broadcast, promoted, or delivered.
2. Payment authorisation, capture, and refunds
Where a paid service uses payment authorisation, your payment method is authorised when you submit the request. We only capture the payment if the request is approved and ready to proceed.
If we cannot approve or deliver the requested service, the authorisation will be released or refunded as applicable. Your bank or payment provider controls how quickly released authorisations appear back on your account.
Some paid services may require payment before processing begins. Where this applies, we will make this clear in the purchase flow.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm that:
- You have the right to submit the content, track, profile image, likeness, metadata, or campaign material
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- The service is for legitimate promotion connected to your Electric profile, show, or release
- Your submitted material does not infringe another person's rights or contain unlawful, offensive, misleading, or harmful content
- You will respond promptly if we need additional information, files, edits, or approval
4. Advertising and sponsored disclosure
Where a paid service creates paid promotion, sponsored placement, sponsored airplay, advertising, or promotional visibility, Electric will label the placement clearly at relevant listener interaction points.
Depending on the surface, this may include labels such as #ad, #sponsored, Sponsored, Advertisement, or equivalent wording that makes the paid nature of the placement clear before listeners interact with it.
You agree that Electric may apply these labels to paid placements, playlist features, sponsored airplay metadata, social or app surfaces, and related promotional material where required. You must not ask Electric to hide, remove, or obscure paid promotion disclosures.
5. Spotlight Release
For Spotlight Release requests:
- You must submit a valid Spotify release link
- Electric will review the track for audience fit, editorial suitability, and package requirements
- Starter includes a featured Spotify embed on Electric's website and app for 1 week
- Plus includes a featured Spotify embed for 2 weeks and 1 week of #sponsored airplay
- Premium includes a featured Spotify embed for 4 weeks, 2 weeks of #sponsored airplay, and a complimentary premium guest mix slot
- If your package includes #sponsored airplay, we will request a radio edit that is under 4 minutes long
- Sponsored airplay and sponsored playlist placements will be clearly disclosed at relevant listener interaction points using #ad, #sponsored, Sponsored, Advertisement, or equivalent wording where appropriate for the surface
- Package windows are service entitlements, not guarantees of listener numbers, audience size, playlist performance, or broadcast outcomes
- Premium guest mix slots are subject to scheduling, eligibility, and the relevant Guest Mix Terms
We may reject tracks that are unsuitable for Electric, unavailable, incomplete, offensive, legally problematic, not appropriate for broadcast or playlist promotion, or not supplied in the format needed for the chosen package.
6. Local Boost
For Local Boost requests:
- You must choose one eligible upcoming show, one town or city, display categories, and a campaign budget
- Requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the selected show
- Campaigns are subject to team review, supplier availability, location availability, and setup feasibility
- Local Boost is currently available for English-speaking territories only
- Your selected budget includes Electric's service fee as stated in the request flow
- Estimated reach, board displays, impressions, or delivery numbers are indicative only and are not guaranteed
If a campaign cannot be approved, scheduled, or delivered, we will release the authorisation or refund the captured payment as applicable.
7. Community Headshot
For Community Headshot requests:
- You must upload an image that you have the right to use and that includes your own likeness or the likeness of someone who has given permission
- Images are subject to automated checks, processing, and Electric team review
- Not every uploaded image can be accepted, improved, or processed successfully
- We may reject images that do not meet our quality, safety, rights, brand, or profile requirements
- If attempts or annual limits apply, these will be shown in the headshot flow
If Electric cannot deliver the paid headshot service after review, we will provide the applicable retry, credit, release, or refund route.
8. Bespoke Jingles and future one-off services
Future one-off services such as Bespoke Jingles, release support, profile services, or promotional tools may have additional service-specific requirements shown at the point of request.
Unless stated otherwise, those services are reviewed by the Electric team before fulfilment and are charged separately from residency subscriptions.
9. Editorial discretion
Electric may decline, pause, amend, reschedule, or cancel a paid service request if it does not meet our standards, cannot be delivered, creates legal or operational risk, or may negatively affect Electric, our audience, partners, or community.
We may also amend timing, placement, or fulfilment details where required for moderation, supplier availability, scheduling, technical issues, or legal reasons.
10. Changes and cancellation
Once a paid service has been approved and delivery work has started, cancellation may not be possible. If you need to amend or cancel a request, contact support@electricradio.co.uk as soon as possible.
